Glendale

North Brand Boulevard, 800 block--Vandals caused $4,000 damage to a commercial building between Feb. 1 and March 21.

Mayfield Avenue, 3900 block--Jewelry valued at $7,475 was stolen from a house when a burglar gained entry through a dog door between Feb. 28 and March 20.

North Louise Street, 200 block--A video camera, camera and jewelry, valued together at $1,238, were stolen from a house between March 14 and 27.

Boynton Street and Palmer Avenue--Eight cars were damaged by gang taggers at 4 p.m. March 21.

East Garfield Avenue, 1100 block--Thieves entered a construction site and stole plywood and power tools, valued at $5,985, between March 20 and 22.

South Glendale Avenue, 1100 block--Two men threatened to shoot a market clerk at 3:30 a.m. March 22 as they robbed her of $20 cash and cigarette cartons.

North Everett Street, 500 block--A thief posing as a roofing contractor giving refunds stole $1,160 from a homeowner at 1:15 p.m. March 22.

Montrose Avenue, 3000 block--A burglar entered an apartment through an unlocked sliding glass door and stole two guns, ammunition, a bicycle and a microwave oven between 6:45 a.m. and 3:55 p.m. March 22.

West Wilson Avenue, 300 block--Graffiti was painted on a car at 5 p.m. March 22.

San Fernando Road and Acacia Avenue--A cab driver was assaulted with a chain by a drunk passenger at 2 a.m. March 23.

South Kenwood Street, 200 block--A burglar removed several window panes to enter a ground floor apartment and steal a camcorder, 35-mm camera and a credit card between 11:15 and 11:59 p.m. March 23.

Glenoaks Boulevard, 1800 block--A gunman robbed a small market, escaping with $400 in cash and four packages of cigarettes, at 8:55 p.m. March 24.

Gesell Street, 1000 block--Burglars stole more than $3,000 worth of home entertainment equipment and tools after prying open a rear door window and screen between noon and 3 p.m. March 25.

South Brand Boulevard, 200 block--A man was stabbed in the back at 8:55 p.m. March 26 by a man believed to be a gang member, and the victim was hospitalized.

West Milford Street, 500 block--Burglars forced open the door of a rear guest house and stole a TV and VCR on March 26 or 27.

West Glenoaks Boulevard, 1900 block--A market clerk was robbed at gunpoint of $700 to $800 cash at 9:25 p.m. March 27.

Green Street, 800 block--Burglars entered a house through an unlocked window and stole a TV and VCR on March 27 or 28.

South Glendale Avenue, 800 block--Burglars smashed a front window in a liquor store, stealing 10 cartons of cigarettes and six half pints of liquor, at 9:15 p.m. March 28.

North Louise Street, 900 block--A computer, video camera, camera, watch and statue, valued at $4,450, were stolen from a house between 6 and 11 a.m. March 28.

Hampstead Road, 4100 block--A Harley Davidson motorcycle valued at $15,000 was stolen from a garage March 24 or 25.

Starlight Crest Drive, 200 block--A custom-made mailbox valued at $350 was stolen from a house between 7 and 11 p.m. March 27.

La Crescenta

Foothill Boulevard, 2600 block--Two men who reportedly stole 34 cases of soda, valued at $312, from a supermarket were arrested after a high-speed chase at 4:30 a.m. March 28.

Cypress Park

Idell Street, 2600 block--Two men with guns attempted to rob a market clerk, but the clerk fell to the floor in fear and the robbers fled without any property at 2 p.m. March 25.

Eagle Rock

Figueroa Street, 7400 block--Thieves smashed an office window with a sledgehammer and stole computer equipment, valued at $5,420, on March 21 or 22.

Colorado Boulevard, 2800 block--A department store clerk was robbed at gunpoint of $20 cash at 11:15 a.m. March 22.

Range Road, 2700 block--Thieves kicked in the door of a house and stole firearms and a TV, valued at $3,487, between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. March 23.

Colorado Boulevard, 1500 block--A man climbed a fence, cut the locks on a shed and stole tools, valued at $3,377, at 5:55 a.m. March 24.

College View Place, 1700 block--Two men snatched a purse valued at $30 from a woman on the street at 5 p.m. March 24.

Figueroa Street, 7200 block--A woman in a parking lot was robbed of her purse and money, valued at $80, by two men at 7 p.m. March 24.

Colorado Boulevard, 2200 block--A man asked a female pedestrian for the time, then pulled a gun and robbed her of $60 at 8:15 p.m. March 25.

Colorado Boulevard, 1900 block--Two men robbed a liquor store clerk of money and liquor, valued at $448, at 11:50 p.m. March 26.

Kincheloe Drive, 5300 block--Tools valued at $1,200 were stolen from a garage between 3 and 6 p.m. March 28.

Parmer Avenue, 1500 block--A purse valued at $300 was snatched from a woman as she walked down the street at 10 p.m. March 22.

North Morton Avenue, 1800 block--A man asked another man for directions, then displayed a revolver and robbed the victim of $24 at 5:30 a.m. March 24.

Rotary Drive, 1700 block--A stereo and recorded music, valued at $1,320, were stolen from a house between 1 and 7:45 p.m. March 24.

Allesandro Street, 1600 block--A man asked a pedestrian for the time, then pulled out a revolver and robbed the victim of a wallet and food, valued at $33, at 10:45 p.m. March 24.

Beaudry Avenue, 800 block--Clothing and telephone equipment, valued at $1,120, were stolen from a house between 11:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. March 26.

Cypress Avenue, 1900 block--Two men with a handgun robbed a market clerk of cash and food stamps, valued at $140, at 6:10 p.m. March 23.

Estara Avenue, 3200 block--Thieves entered an apartment through an open window and stole jewelry and video equipment, valued at $1,300, between 1:45 and 2 p.m. March 26.

Division Street, 3400 block--Burglars pried open a side window of a house and stole video equipment and jewelry, valued at $6,315, between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. March 26.

Fayette Street, 6000 block--Burglars might have used a master key to enter a house between March 15 and 22, where cameras and jewelry, valued at $1,800, were stolen.

North Avenue 54, 800 block--Computer and video equipment, valued at $4,457, was stolen from a high school between March 19 and 22.

Ash Street and Avenue 56--Two men assaulted a pedestrian, taking money and jewelry, valued at $510, at 9:40 p.m. March 22.

York Boulevard, 6400 block--Two people working in an office were robbed at gunpoint by a man of money and jewelry, valued at $3,009, at 11:20 a.m. March 25.

North Avenue 55, 1800 block--Video and camera equipment, valued at $2,140, was stolen from a house between 9 and 10:30 a.m. March 26.

York Boulevard and Aldama Street--A motorist stopped at a red light was robbed of his vehicle by two gunmen at 4:40 a.m. March 27.

Elder Street, 6600 block--Burglars pried open a sliding door of a house and stole a TV and video equipment, valued at $2,750, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. March 28.

North Avenue 52, 100 block--A man tried to rob a mini-market clerk at 12:50 p.m March 28, but the victim was unable to open the register.

Figueroa Street, 5800 block--A gunman robbed a fast-food clerk of $104 at 1:35 p.m. March 28.

York Boulevard, 6300 block--A man with a knife forced a motorist out of his car at 8:40 p.m. March 28 and drove off in the vehicle with another man.

Prospect Avenue, 4100 block--Burglars ripped window screens off an unlocked house window and stole jewelry and video equipment, valued at $1,310, between March 19 and 22.

Sunset Boulevard, 4500 block--A man with a gun in his waistband said he was hungry and robbed a man of $100 at 3 a.m. March 22.

Vermont Avenue, 1700 block--A man with a demand note robbed a bank teller of $1,760 at 11:20 a.m. March 22.

Hillhurst Avenue, 1900 block--Clothing valued at $10,000 was stolen from a clothing store at 4:30 a.m. March 23.

Mayview Drive, 2100 block--Electronic equipment valued at $6,130 was stolen from an unlocked house between 8:30 and 11 p.m. March 23.

Clarissa Avenue, 4400 block--Two men with a handgun wrestled purses and money, valued at $2,433, from two women on the sidewalk at 10:15 p.m. March 23, while two other men stood as lookouts.

Los Feliz Boulevard, 4400 block--Thieves removed the screen from an unlocked house window between 6 and 11 a.m. March 25 and stole jewelry valued at $1,600.

Normandie Avenue, 1800 block--A man snatched a woman’s purse and money, valued at $170, as she walked on a sidewalk at 6:40 p.m. March 25.

Hollywood Boulevard, 4700 block--Two gunmen robbed a man in a vehicle of $75 at 3:10 p.m. March 26.

Mariposa Avenue, 1100 block--Two men and a woman robbed a man at gunpoint of $100 and his vehicle at 7:30 p.m. March 26.

Garden Avenue, 4000 block--Burglars forced the lock of the sliding glass door of an apartment and stole a stereo and camera equipment, valued at $2,120, between 1 and 5 p.m. March 22.

Lakeview Terrace, 2200 block--Pet birds, valued at $800, were stolen from an outdoor bird cage at 10:30 p.m. March 22.

Micheltorena Street, 1500 block--A man and woman asked a man on the street for the time, then robbed him of $129 at 12:20 a.m. March 25.

Riverside Drive, 2000 block--Three men armed with a gun entered a market at 1:50 p.m. March 26, tied up a clerk and robbed him of $7,000.
