Hillary Clinton as ‘Consort’

What kind of bilge are foisting on us in printing this cutesy piece?

I am sure the piece can be flattering to Hillary Rodham Clinton if we look at it as depicting her to be a very strong, determined woman. For me, I wince at the condescension and tongue-in-cheek analysis of women’s role in history.

If I were not so afraid of being accused of paranoia, I would say there is some woman-hating coloration working in the innuendo that the First Lady is someone to be feared. The end of the piece even gleefully endorses institutionalized sexism in politics and the U.S. government.
