AZERBAIJAN : New Units Mustered to Repel Armenians

New fighting units are being mustered by the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry to repel Armenian forces that have captured nearly a tenth of its territory. A television journalist in the capital, Baku, said the government is hastily assembling fresh combat units to repel a major Armenian offensive. The former Soviet republics of Armenia and Azerbaijan are locked in an undeclared war over the disputed territory of Nagorno-Karabakh.
