Woman Seized in Gun Incident at White House
Police arrested a woman near the White House on Wednesday after guns were found in her truck, along with several signs, including one that asked to see “the President, the FBI and Barbara Walters.”
Dave Adams, a Secret Service spokesman, said Carolyn Eaves of Midway, Ky., was charged with having an unregistered handgun, concealing a pistol without a license and illegal possession of a box of .22-caliber bullets. She also was charged with possession of drugs, he said.
Eaves, 44, drove her truck illegally over a Pennsylvania Avenue curb and onto Lafayette Park, across the street from the White House.
