Tustin Council’s Ban on Picketing at Residences

Share

So the Tustin City Council has decreed that you can’t picket in front of a residence because it can disturb someone’s privacy (“Law Against Picketing Residences OKd,” April 6).

Maybe the council should consult a constitutional law judge. I thought we the people could protest anywhere as long as we stood on a public sidewalk. What’s next--passing an ordinance forbidding protests in front of city government buildings because it will disturb the “privacy” of each city worker?
