Sega to Form Joint Venture with Time Warner: Sega Enterprises, a leading Japanese producer of computer and arcade games, will join Time Warner Inc. and Tele-Communications Inc. this summer to provide TV game software in the United States through cable TV networks operated by the two companies, Japan’s Nihon Keizai newspaper reported. Earlier this month, Sega announced an agreement with New Line Cinema to develop a game for use in a new children’s movie. The film, called “Surf Ninja,” will be released in the United States in July.
