Two Killed, 60 Homes Hit by Tornado in Louisiana

MANY, La. —
A woman and her granddaughter were killed and about 60 homes were destroyed or damaged when a tornado struck Sabine Parish in west central Louisiana, authorities said. Sheriff James Brumley said Mary Payton, 60, and her granddaughter, Sarah Payton, 12, were killed late Wednesday when the twister dropped an oak tree on their car.
