VAN NUYS : Victim’s Program to Launch Rights Week
The Victim Assistance Program in Van Nuys, the busiest such office in the city, hopes to bring in even more clients when Victim’s Rights Week kicks off Monday.
The Van Nuys City Hall office, 14410 Sylvan St., provides financial and other assistance to victims of violent crimes.
The center compensates victims for medical care, loss of wages, funerals and other financial burdens caused by crime. Family members can also qualify, depending on the circumstance. For information, call (818) 989-8488.
