Universal Self Care to Buy Price Rite Diabetes Centers

Universal Self Care Inc., a Van Nuys-based operator of centers for diabetics, has a tentative agreement to acquire Price Rite Diabetes Centers in San Diego. The price was not disclosed.
The companies’ outlets provide diabetics with medical equipment, supplies and other services, and Universal said the proposed purchase of Price Rite is part of its planned expansion in California.
