2 Officers Guilty in King Case
A valuable lesson was taught this weekend: Strong law enforcement keeps the peace. History has shown us this truth. Now we, in Los Angeles, have experienced this firsthand. No violence broke out. No burning and looting took place. All because law enforcement was visible, ready to act, and this fact was well-publicized.
The principle holds true for a strong military internationally as well. I hope President Clinton is watching and learning from the lesson in Los Angeles.
