2 Officers Guilty in King Case
Twice I have seen police officers behaving inappropriately; these instances come to mind ahead of all the proper law enforcement that went on around me for 17 years in Los Angeles. We remember the obnoxious individual who identifies aggressively with a particular group and forget the large numbers from the same ethnicity or profession with whom we interact pleasantly every day. If we are ever to come together multiculturally, each of us must take responsibility not to create or accept stereotypes involving treatment of others that we would not want for ourselves.
