Nixon Library Cultivates Garden Talks

The Great Gardens of the Presidency Speaker Series at the Richard Nixon Library & Birthplace in Yorba Linda will begin Monday and continue through June 29.

The series will include lectures and slide presentations of landscapes and restorations of famous gardens in America, including the White House, Colonial Williamsburg, Presidential Promenades of the Capitol Mall in Washington, Mount Vernon and Monticello.

The Monday lecture will be held at 10:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Christine Klim Doell, garden historian and restoration specialist, will speak on “The White House: Garden in Good Order--Two Centuries of Garden-Making at the White House.”
