Taxation Burden of Americans
Marotta’s anti-government commentary concludes with the usual right-wing rhetorical nonsense: “Government cannot create real jobs.” Tell that to our most dedicated public schoolteachers or our local police officers and firefighters; tell that to the “government workers” who repair our publicly owned and operated road and highway system.
I’d make a sizable wager that most Americans would regard these jobs as more “real” than Marotta’s work as a self-described “tax consultant” and “research fellow” for the tax-exempt, tax-deductible Stanford Hoover Institution.
