* Kenneth Field has been appointed Southern California regional vice president for the Carlson Co., a Newport Beach property management company. He succeeds Jean Van Bergen, who has been appointed senior vice president in charge of corporate operations. Field was previously owner of Field Properties in Laguna Hills and vice president of P.S. Commercial Properties Group Inc., a subsidiary of Public Storage Inc. in Glendale. In addition, Ted Burnett was appointed director of leasing for the management team handling the Irvine Co.’s portfolio of neighborhood shopping centers. Before joining the Carlson Co., Burnett was director of leasing for Diversified Shopping Centers of Costa Mesa.
