Ropak Posts Loss; Rainbow Gains 76%

Ropak Corp., the Fullerton maker of plastic packaging and handling products, reported a first-quarter loss of $480,000, or 11 cents a share. That contrasted with a profit of $448,000, or 11 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Three-month sales were $19.9 million, down from $21.5 million.
