Holocaust in Bosnia

The Bosnia peace plan by Cyrus Vance and Lord Owen (May 3) is a prescription for disaster as it forces arbitrary divisions on a country already divided by people who do not want to live together. There are many examples of such failed divisions in Africa, the Middle East, and recently in Czechoslovakia and Germany. If we had really wanted to preserve Bosnia, then we should have been active during the demise of Yugoslavia.
