AND ONE MORE THING: Ever wonder what happened to the people pictured on such classic album covers as Led Zeppelin’s “Houses of the Holy” and U2’s “War”? England’s Q magazine has a few answers in its June issue (yes, the one with a near-nude Terence Trent D’Arby on the cover). Q tracked down the people on those and 17 other covers.

Our favorite is the story of Samantha Gates, who as a child model in 1973 cavorted in the nude with her young brother for the mystical “Houses of the Holy” artwork. Now head of marketing for a London cable TV firm, Gates, 27, confesses she has still never even heard the album: “I’d come across people in college who had it in their record collection, and I’d happily own up to the fact it was me, and everyone would have a laugh, then it would be forgotten. . . . It was just another job for me.”
