Asian-American Studies at UCI

* There has been a lot of news and letters to the editor about UC Irvine’s lack of Asian studies. I will admit that I have no idea what that is, but it sounds like one of those degrees they give like “history” where the only thing you can do with it is teach someone else to teach history so they can teach someone else to teach history so they. . . .

Would someone be kind enough to explain Asian studies to me and how it can be used in the job marketplace?
