Davstar Industries Ltd.: The Newport Beach custom injection molding company said its losses deepened for the first quarter to $1.3 million, or 12 cents a share, from $563,000, or 7 cents a share, for the corresponding period last year. Sales dropped 41% to $768,000 from $1.28 million. The company blamed the weaker results on decreased orders from two large customers and expenses associated with the introduction of medical products.
