Harrison is nearly blind in his right eye but qualified for a new driver’s license on his 80th birthday last month. Now he mostly relies on his wife and friends to drive him to favorite surf spots. . . . Harrison loved filming the commercial at Oceanside Pier despite a few problems. “Backing up was the worst,” he said. “I can only look over my left shoulder.”
