Fund Drive to Aid Industrial Efforts: South Korea plans to set up a $10-million fund to support U.S.-Korean industrial ventures, officials said. The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy is asking two major business organizations, the Korea Foreign Traders Assn. and the Federation of Korean Industries, to raise the money over the next five years, officials said. Trade officials said the idea is to boost U.S.-South Korean cooperation in the aircraft, machine tool, computer, medical apparatus and telecommunications equipment industries.
