Summit Care Corp., a Burbank operator of nursing-care and retirement centers, has named Derwin Williams vice president of finance and chief financial officer.

In addition, Melodye Stok has been appointed vice president-controller and chief accounting officer for Summit. She was previously Summit’s vice president of finance.

Williams previously served as chief financial officer at three long-term care companies, Flagg Industries, Care Enterprises and Hallmark Health Services.

Summit Care is 51% owned by Summit Health Ltd.
