Ex-AT&T; Manager Wins $1.88-Million Age-Discrimination Verdict: A federal court jury in Los Angeles made the award for actual and punitive damages to a former customer service operations manager for American Telephone & Telegraph Co. The ex-employee, Ray Sandecki, 60, of La Verne, accused AT&T; of age discrimination and wrongful termination when he was dismissed in 1991 after 40 years with the company. AT&T; officials could not be reached for comment.
