Flamemaster Buys More Shares in Perfectdata

Flamemaster Corp., a Sun Valley producer of sealants and coatings, has increased its stake in Perfectdata Corp. to 575,000 shares or more than 16.9%, Flamemaster said.

Flamemaster previously owned 371,000 shares, or 10.9%, of the Simi Valley maker of computer and office-maintenance products. But in a recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Flamemaster said it bought the additional shares at an average price of $1.50 per share for investment purposes.

Additionally, Flamemaster said two top officers at Flamemaster, Joseph Mazin and Bruce Stuart, were elected to the five-member board at Perfectdata.
