HAPPY DUCKS? A few enthusiastic Mighty Ducks season ticket holders are less than enthusiastic about their seats. But the Disney people plan to make everyone happy before the season starts in October. . . . They’ve invited all season ticket holders to come to the “Pond” today, from 1 to 4 p.m., to review their seats and ask whatever questions they have. You still can upgrade your seats, but you have to put your request in writing. Priority goes to those who bought their tickets first.

THINNER BLUE LINE? “Welcome to the least policed city in America with over 100,000 population.” That’s how Garden Grove Mayor Frank Kessler described his city at an economic conference there Friday. Kessler, its former police chief, asked how many police the group thought were on the city’s streets that moment. One man said 50, another said 70. Kessler’s response: “Five cops and one sergeant. And tonight it will be 14 cops and two sergeants.” The mayor blames budget woes.

HOME FAN: She’s been the lone Orange County voice on the California Coastal Commission. Huntington Beach City Councilwoman Linda Moulton-Patterson, 50, takes the oath Monday night to begin her second term on the 12-member state panel. . . . Moulton-Patterson, who also has her eye on a county supervisor seat, says her priorities remain the same: “Preserve our valuable coastal resources, which include our precious Bolsa Chica wetlands.”

WHOOPING IT UP: If you loved Whoopi Goldberg in “Sister Act,” you can see her up close in “Sister Act 2”: Touchstone Pictures is casting non-speaking parts for the sequel today and Sunday at the Irvine Marriott Hotel’s grand ballroom. It’s by alphabet: A through Ds early morning, R through Zs last in the afternoon. . . . Why Orange County? Says extras casting director Marshall Peck: “We need a lot of people for an upbeat scene, and we thought this would be a place to find upbeat people.”
