Free Legal Assistance in Koreatown

People with questions about government benefits, housing, employment, small-claims court, immigration and other legal issues can get help at the Koreatown Free Legal Clinic from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Fridays.

The clinic, designed primarily for Korean-speaking residents but open to anyone, is at the offices of Korean Immigrant Workers Advocates, 2430 W. 3rd St. The workers organization is a sponsor of the clinics, along with the Legal Aid Foundation and the Asian Pacific American Legal Center. The workers group has also translated into Korean a video guide to small-claims court, produced by the Legal Aid Foundation.
