Platinum Software Corp.: The Irvine financial software company reported a loss of $15.5 million, or $2.09 a share, for its 1993 fiscal year. That included one-time charges of $21.1 million related to recent acquisitions. The results contrasted with a profit of $937,000, or 17 cents a share, for the previous year. Revenue for the 12 months ended June 30 more than doubled to $38.6 million from $15.9 million. For its fourth quarter, the company lost $17.4 million, or $1.95 a share, contrasted with a profit of $93,000, or 2 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Three-month revenue tripled to $15.8 million from $5 million.
