Women Executives Still Rare, Study Says: A survey shows that in Japan’s male-dominated business world, women executives remained a rare species. According to the survey by publishing company Toyo Keizai, there were only 48 female directors at 2,128 companies listed on Japan’s eight stock exchanges as of July, 0.1% of the total.
