PDA Engineering: The Costa Mesa provider of software products and engineering services recorded a 26% increase in profit for fiscal 1993 compared to the previous year. It rose to $4.4 million, or 43 cents a share, from $3.5 million, or 36 cents a share. The fiscal 1993 figure included a gain of $840,000 from an accounting change. Revenue for the year ended June 30 rose 13% to $43.1 million from $38.2 million. For the fourth quarter, profit totaled $1 million, or 10 cents a share, on revenue of $12.3 million. That compares with a profit of $1.6 million, or 17 cents a share, on revenue of $11 million for the same period a year earlier.
