Siemens Solar Lays Off 28 Workers to Cut Costs
Siemens Solar Industries, a Camarillo firm that claims to be the world’s largest producer of solar-energy products, has laid off 28 workers as a cost-cutting measure.
The company, which employs 400, took the action in “a proactive effort to be competitive and to continue to be profitable,” spokeswoman Deanna L. Perez said.
