Moldovans Blame Deformed Infant on Chernobyl

KISHINEV, Moldova — Doctors said Monday that the 1986 Chernobyl nuclear disaster was probably responsible for the birth of a two-headed baby last week in the former Soviet republic of Moldova.
Doctors at the Moldova Republic Maternity Hospital in Kishinev said the girl was born in the town of Tarakliya on Wednesday with two heads, two hearts, two sets of lungs, two spinal cords and a single set of limbs.
