Mazda to Unveil Luxury Sedan: The auto maker said it will produce a mid-size luxury car designed for its discontinued Amati line and sell it in the United States next year under the Mazda nameplate. Mazda spokesman Thomas McDonald in Irvine said the car will have a 24-valve, V-6 engine and will be competitive with Nissan’s J-30 sedan and BMW’s 5- and 3-series sedans. He said the vehicle, to be shown later this month at the Frankfurt International Auto Show, has not yet been named. He would not give its price range.
