Martinez Named to Fluor Corp. Board
* Vilma S. Martinez has been elected to the board of Fluor Corp., bringing the number of directors to 14. Martinez has been a litigation partner at Munger, Tolles & Olson in Los Angeles since 1982. Before that, she spent nine years as president and general counsel for the Mexican-American Legal Defense and Educational Fund. Martinez has also served as equal employment opportunity counsel for the New York State Division of Human Rights, litigation associate at Cahill, Gordon & Raindell, and staff attorney with the NAACP Legal Defense Fund. Fluor, based in Irvine, is an engineering, construction, maintenance and related technical services company.
* Stephen J. Konsin has been appointed vice president-general manager of America’s Pharmacy Inc., a subsidiary of SysteMed Inc. in Laguna Hills. He will be responsible for the operations of the mail service pharmacy company based in Des Moines, Iowa. He was formerly director of operations-Pharmacy Services at Thrift Drug Inc., a J. C. Penney Co. subsidiary.
