CMS Rebounds From Loss, Reports a Profit

CMS Enhancements Inc., the Irvine computer products company, reported a profit of $236,000, or 8 cents a share, for its latest fiscal year.

That contrasted with a loss of $8.9 million, or 3.04 cents a share, for the previous 12 months. Sales for the year ended June 30 declined to $73.1 million from $115.1 million. For its fourth fiscal quarter, the company posted a profit of $40,000, or 1 cent a share, contrasted with a loss of $1.3 million, or 45 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Three-month sales were $17.9 million, compared to $27.2 million a year earlier.
