Poor Judgment in Academy, Ads

I was in agreement with your editorial on “An Exhibition of Poor Judgment” (Sept. 24) by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department in which you noted that they were “treating women as objects and (which) helps create an atmosphere conducive to sexual harassment.”

However, I find that your newspaper is not consistent in this philosophy, when in your editorial section you condemn such thinking and actions, but in the sports section you have various advertisements that promote women doing “exotic dancing . . . entertainment beyond your imagination.”

Maybe money (advertisements) speaks louder then words (philosophy).
