Takasugi to Hold Pancake Breakfast
Assemblyman Nao Takasugi (R-Oxnard) is offering a free pancake breakfast to draw constituents to a town hall meeting at Oxnard High School on Saturday morning.
It will be his third town hall meeting since he took office this the year. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
Takasugi, whose 37th District stretches from Moorpark south to Thousand Oaks and west to Oxnard, said he will continue to meet informally with constituents at such meetings throughout the year. During his previous town hall meetings Takasugi has mostly fielded questions about California’s lagging economy, and the ongoing state budget debate.
He already plans on having meetings in Camarillo, Moorpark and Port Hueneme over the next few weeks to discuss issues of concern with his constituents.
Saturday’s free pancake breakfast will be served by Takasugi and his staff.
Takasugi’s district office expects to see about 60 people at the breakfast gathering, which will run from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Oxnard High School cafeteria, 937 W. 5th St.
