Molestation Court Cases
Thanks to such people as attorneys Shari Karney and Mary Williams and State Rep. Paula L. Boland (R-Granada Hills), the defense of the statute of limitations has been severely restricted in incest and other childhood sexual molestation cases (“ ‘Shattered Trust’: A Fierce Look at Incest,” Sept. 27).
While there are still many restrictions in filing such lawsuits and litigation is certainly not the best approach for every victim, for those who wish to file such lawsuits, they may at least have their day in court.
