Waste Treatment Site: Metalclad Corp. of Newport Beach said Wednesday that it has completed acquisition of a hazardous waste landfill in the mining region of San Luis Potosi, Mexico, where it will build a waste treatment facility.
The plant is expected to cost $6.2 million and will be capable of handling more than 10,000 tons of hazardous waste each month, the company said. Metalclad specializes in hazardous-waste treatment and industrial insulation services.
