Terminal Data Gets Orders for Scanners

Terminal Data Corp. of Moorpark has received more than $3 million in follow-on orders for its document microfilmers and scanners.

NCR Corp., a subsidiary of American Telephone & Telegraph Co., ordered an additional $2.6 million worth of ScannerMate Recorders for use in systems that process checks and records of credit-card transactions.

And PRC Inc., a unit of Black & Decker Corp., ordered $500,000 worth of scanners to be used in processing Army and Navy records.
