IN BRIEF : Doctor to Explain Prostate Cancer

Dr. Arie Belldegrun will discuss new approaches to the treatment of prostate cancer at the monthly board meeting of Concern Foundation for Cancer Research on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Mountaingate Country Club in Brentwood.

Belldegrun is an associate professor of surgery/urology and is director of the Cancer Immunotherapy Program at UCLA.

Concern Foundation for Cancer Research, now in its 25th year, raises funds specifically for worldwide research projects in the areas of cancer immunology and immunotherapy. The organization has raised more than $12 million for this research.
