Fountain Valley : Bowling Tournament to Benefit Can Drive

A bowling tournament to benefit the Can Tree Community Food Drive Realtors will be held Wednesday at Fountain Valley Bowl. The event, sponsored by the Huntington Beach/Fountain Valley Assn. of Realtors, will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Participation will be open to 300 adults, and the entry fee is $10.
Prizes will be awarded in several categories, with special events including blind partner competition.
Last year the event resulted in more than 30,000 canned and other food items being donated to community agencies that distribute food to elderly residents on fixed incomes, single-parent families, disabled people and others in need.
Tickets are available at the realtors association office at 8101 Slater Ave., Huntington Beach, or at Fountain Valley Bowl, 17110 Brookhurst St.
