Property Sale: Three Orange County properties are to be auctioned Dec. 14 in Boston as part of one of the largest government-sponsored commercial real estate auctions in history. The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. is planning to sell to 200 properties in 26 states, including apartment complexes in Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach and a Santa Ana office building. Woodlake Apartments, a 156-unit complex in Huntington Beach, is expected to be sold for between $5.6 million and $8.8 million. Costa Mesa’s Merrimac Woods, a 123-unit apartment complex, is priced between $4.5 million and $7.1 million. The Broadway Corporate Center in Santa Ana is priced between $1.1 million to $1.8 million.
