Law enforcement, city staff and elected officials will meet with the public Monday night to discuss youth gangs.
The 7 p.m. meeting, organized by the city in response to the death of San Clemente High School student Steve Woods, will be held at the Our Lady of Fatima Church parish hall, 105 S. La Esperanza.
Speakers will include City Manager Michael Parness, Sheriff’s Lt. Tom Davis, Stan Jacquot of the sheriff’s Gang Enforcement Team, Juvenile Court Referee Jim Odriozola, Assemblyman Bill Morrow, probation officer Colleene Hodges, and city police services officer Jan Sener.
“It will be a general informational forum, letting people know what they need to do and be aware of, and how (gang) cases are handled,” Sener said.
After their presentations, speakers will take questions from the audience.
