ORANGE : Hospital Awards Grants to 2 Groups
Kaiser Permanente has awarded grants totaling $6,450 to two local service organizations--the Mariposa Women’s Center and the Coalition for Children, Adolescents and Parents.
The nonprofit Mariposa Women’s Center provides low-cost services such as parenting classes, a women’s alcohol and drug recovery program and individual and group counseling services. They also provide a men’s therapy group.
The Coalition for Children, Adolescents and Parents is also a nonprofit organization.
Its services include providing parenting skills and preventing unwanted adolescent pregnancy and associated at-risk behavior.
