World IN BRIEF : BOSNIA-HERZEGOVINA : Muslims Consider Dividing Sarajevo

Bosnia’s Muslim-led government grudgingly agreed to consider dividing Sarajevo with rival Serbs, offering a possible breakthrough in efforts to end the 20-month war. The concession came on the second day of the latest round of peace talks in Geneva. While the leaders of Bosnia’s three warring factions--Croats, Serbs and Muslims--negotiated, mortar rounds slammed into Sarajevo’s main hospital, killing two nurses and wounding a doctor and a technician.
