MusicSource’s Chinese Deal: A company that markets machines that print sheet music instantly said Thursday that it is in the final stages of completing a joint venture that would put 100 of its machines in China.

MusicSource USA Inc. said the deal should be completed by Dec. 10. Until then, the Newport Beach company is being mum about the identity of the joint venture partner and other details.

MusicSource has developed a kiosk that can print sheet music from a vast library stored in its computer memory. The kiosks will have interactive capability, allowing customers to purchase music from catalogues.
