Russians’ Ballot Choices

Share

Russian voters will choose a 450-seat Duma and a 178-seat Federation Council on Sunday.

Half the seats in the Duma will be chosen from nationwide lists offered by each party. Voters will check off the party of their choice, and the seats will be divided according to the proportion of the nationwide vote received by each party getting at least 5% of the vote.

The rest of the parliament will be chosen from voting districts. That includes the other half of the Duma seats, to be chosen from 225 districts, and the entire Federation Council (two members from each of 89 territorial subdivisions).

Here are the parties that qualified to run a nationwide list for the Duma and the number of candidates on each list.
