Techno-Babble? More Like Techno-Brilliance

In reference to Loraine Chapman’s letter (“A Real Innovator in Pomposity,” Nov. 7) condemning Michael Schrage’s column as pompous techno-babble:

Perhaps Ms. Chapman needs to use a dictionary more often to derive a deeper understanding of what she is reading. Michael Schrage is a brilliant and stimulating writer whose foresight is very educational.

As a futurist, I follow several socioeconomic trends. Mr. Schrage’s column is one of my favorite sources of information, and it is my sincerest wish that he continues to “flex his ‘superior’ mental prowess” for my satisfaction. Keep up the excellent work, Michael!
