AND ONE MORE THING: Panicking over last-minute Christmas shopping? We found a few items that might interest the rock ‘n’ roll fans on your list. Retro/Active Music Memorabilia of Montgomery, Ala., has new listings for a number of cherished items, ranging from handwritten lyrics and letters by the likes of John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton to one of Capitol Records’ first promotional displays for the Beatles from 1963 (at $2,000, so you’d better have been really nice). But the most interesting selections may be star-worn clothing, including brown slacks worn by Elvis Presley in 1969 and ’70 ($750) and a jacket owned by Buddy Holly in 1958 ($3,000). And if disco drag diva RuPaul is on your list, there’s a 1966 lavender two-piece evening gown owned and worn by Florence Ballard of the Supremes ($750).*
