Unlucky Trucker Admits Guilt in Lottery Bribe Case

A truck driver who wrote letters to lottery officials offering to split the jackpot with them if they let him win pleaded guilty to bribery. William Swearingen, 53, could get up to five years in prison but will probably receive probation, prosecutor Jim Murray said.
